How many new jackets do you have coming (and how many potential ones)?

Dang that looks cozy
Cozy indeed! The jacket arrived and I wore it for about 10 minutes before the back yoke shredded like cardboard. Dry rot. Straight to the dumpster it went. Shame as it fit really well, size 40” runs big:

So itook another stab at one on Poshmark for $40. It arrived an utterly shapeless bag of sh!t. Couldn’t have looked worse.:

I decided to lengthen the sleeves and move the waist adjustment up 6” and give it a little 2 tone flair. It’s wearable!

But man it’s a big 40”. 24” p2p!

I got a couple of fw’s, and I wasn’t even looking for either of them.

I didn’t even know the twin peaks existed in green goat but I’ve been wanting to try some nice goat and I’ve been looking for a dark green jacket for a while now, the sz36 should fit me perfect and I love that pinched back.

And I always thought the brown mulholland would be near impossible to find in a sz34, after I swap out the bulky moleskin lining, for cupro or light cotton, it should fit me slim and slightly cropped which is just what I was looking for in a custom civilian chp type jacket build I’ve been considering.

Was always a fan of the WWII paratrooper coat which inspired the famous Barbour International waxed cotton biker jacket. Stumbled across a Barbour limited edition International in black calfskin. Very rare. Excited to share once I find time. May send this to JL to get a copy in a heavier hide..

Damn that jacket is crazy (in a good way)
It really is isnt it?! It’s sheepskin so it will be light as a feather I’m sure. Very unusual grain. I’ll have to ask Satoshi how he achieves it but I know he works with a single tannery for all his hide selections and processing. For a black jacket it does have some interesting depth of color too.

I’m really surprised nobody else has picked one up as his prices are along the same lines as master supply and rugged west, but the end results are infinitely more sophisticated… but limited to the repro Levi’s pattern currently. Anyway barring something else from him, this is it for me. After almost 30 years of collecting, buying, selling and repeating ad nauseam, I’m done. I’ve picked off the pinnacle of every single style I’m interested in. Time to retire!

Please post a review when it arrives, I’m curious to see how the leather looks in person. May actually pick one up if it looks like the photos.

The number of times I’ve heard people here saying they’re done with the new jackets…

Trying to stick to a net zero spend on jackets for the foreseeable and am in the midst of a clearout, which with some luck in finding deals has allowed for the arrival of:

A Lewis Dominator in black sheep - I have one in green sheep and have wanted one in black but couldn’t justify the new RRP. Was very glad to pick this up in unworn condition for a fraction of the cost, it still has that new jacket smell.

A Pike Bros deck jacket - not sure if this will get enough wear to stay forever, but I wanted something for cold mornings -and trips to London when an overcoat can become ***bersome.

A2-style vintage Golden Bear - still waiting for this to arrive, was a good price and a chance to try out the style with little risk.

Wrangler blue bell 11MJZ - always liked the look of these and it’s 50% off on the Wrangler site right now.

I’m now probably tapped out until my LW sells, though I’m seriously considering selling my other black jackets now I have the Lewis.
