Maybe someone here can help me with this maker's mark. I purchased it years ago and don't remember who the maker is. It's obviously Hopi overlay and the workmanship is excellent. I've searched a lot looking at Hopi maker's marks to no avail. I do remember that he is a member of the ghost clan.
Well, apparently it is the Hopi Sivercraft Guild sun face. Still don't know the maker.

The search is finally over. The maker's mark is the mark of Berra Tawahongva. He passed in 2023. His overlay work is excellent. His more recent work was marked BT.

Hi Lee... it would be nice to see additional photos of this piece. I am not seeing the hallmark of the Hopi Guild in this pictograph.

He was in th Hopi guild but the symbol is his makers mark. His later pieces are marked B/T for Berra Tawahongva. The symbol I think is some kachina symbol. I originally used A/I to research the symbol and it came back with the sun symbol for Hopi Guild which was wrong.

I do not collect, but I love it and and have one ring now which is more of a biker style ring. It appears you have fine taste!

A long ring by Navajo silversmith Sam Roanhorse, younger brother of Ambrose Roanhorse. I have a number of his pieces - all are masterfully crafted. I am excited to add this recent auction acquisition to my collection of his work. It will take a modest sizing up for me to wear it on my pinky, which I think I will do.
