FS: Lost Worlds Pea Coat (Black Horsehide) - Size L (40)

For sale is a LW pea coat in black horsehide. It's sized for the Japanese market, which is where I acquired it. Thus, the tagged size of Large (L) corresponds to around a size 40. FWIW, I'm 6'1.5" and 190 lbs with a 42-inch chest. I currently own an LW J-23 in size 42, but I can comfortably button this up over a lightweight long-sleeve shirt.

I'd guess that the leather is in the 2.75- to 3.0-oz range. I weighed it on my fish scale at 5.30 pounds. The leather is super-grainy and glossier than my J-23. The heavy nylon lining is in terrific shape. No signs of fraying. There are no odors to speak of.

Picture this: collar popped, fedora tipped low, cigarette glowing in the falling snow, strolling through downtown like you own the night. Feels like a scene ripped straight from a gangster film.

@Grayland and anyone else who is interested, here are some shots of me wearing the pea coat. As I mentioned above, I’m 6’1.5”, 190 lbs with a 42-inch chest. Another inch in the sleeves and a little more room in the chest to accommodate heavier layers would be perfect for me IMO.

That is a seriously nice heavy jacket! I'm 6'3" and have longer arms - usual length for my jackets is 25.5. otherwise this is very close to what I would like. The black HH is excellent!

This is one of those instances where I’m really hoping it went to a member here and didn’t just disappear into the eBay abyss. Hopefully, someday it finds its way back up for sale when I finally have the courage to pull it off.
