Despite their beauty, I'm not inclined to wear a montecristi hat much in the heat of summer but I do like them for those days when the temperature stays in the seventies and their weight and density remain comfortable. Here is a Cavanagh branded post-war example. It is quite fine and evenly woven with 11 vueltas.
