Stefan, Great looking "Hall&Co" for "Sools" Homburg! Also a major testament to high quality hat making to bounce back from the criminal packaging!Hall&Co homburg for Sools in black. Soze 60 with the brim at a generous 6,5cm and the crown at 11cm at the center dent. No label underneath the sweatband, so hard to say who the real maker was. The size label makes me think Fléchet.

Thank you, Steve. Never gets old seeing these hats come back to life with a bit of steam.Stefan, Great looking "Hall&Co" for "Sools" Homburg! Also a major testament to high quality hat making to bounce back from the criminal packaging!
I have to say, Stefan: the more I look at the hat, the more wonderful I find it. Not only are the lining, the dimensions, and the color combination exquisite – the whole thing in a chamois finish is superb.Morreton homburg in a brown colour called Bombay. Size 57 with the bound brim at a generous 6,5cm and the crown at 11cm at the center dent. This one has a chamois finish, which is quite unusual for a homburg.

Also before I forget; where all are you guys looking for these beauties? Anywhere else besides EBay? Etsy? ThanksWow, I really need to find a nice Homburg or Lords hat, as I am jealous of all these beautiful hats out there!! That and make sure I find a way to wear them casually, as I don't have to wear a jacket for work much anymore.
John Lofgren Monkey Boots Shinki Horsebuttt - $1,136 The classic monkey boot silhouette in an incredibly rich Shinki russet horse leather.
Grant Stone Diesel Boot Dark Olive Chromexcel - $395 Goodyear welted, Horween Chromexcel, classic good looks.
Schott 568 Vandals Jacket - $1,250 The classic Perfecto motorcycle jacket, in a very special limited-edition Schott double rider style. Those are the best places, but there are many other online marketplaces, if you search, that carry hats. Also before I forget; where all are you guys looking for these beauties? +1
I may have to bribe Stefan into sending that one my way!
Thank you, gentlemen. It's reassuring that hats like thee can still be found. Lucky for me that Daniele can spot them from 200 meters away! This is the plus. Then add color and size, and the wonder is complete.
With the hats I buy, the curiosity of seeing them in my hands is almost gone.
The goal is to combine features that make them unique, or almost.
Very nice find, Steve. Rarely see Resolut hats. I like a homburg with a more generous brim.Resolut Homburger Hutfabrik (R.H.H.) "Komet", 58 cm, possibly the later 1950s. R.H.H. was located in Köppern which is close to Bad Homburg (the birthplace of the Homburg Hat). The Black Felt is of high quality with a very nice Smooth Finish. The Bow design really catches the eye. It has a really nice Form with a wider Brim. R.H.H. hats are less common so I was happy find this one.

Some of the R.H.H. Tip protectors are very thick and tend to stick to the printed Logo on the Liner.

"Resolut" was reversed stamped and originally had a gold coating which only small remnants remain. The photo below show that it was stamped from the underside. If you expand the photo you can see the small circular lines from the die. There was mostly likely a second die for the upper side. The black exterior coating + gold were applied after the stamping. The leather is very thin so this probably made this stamping process less difficult. I couldn't find much on how this might have been accomplished so I could be totally wrong about the process. I can't recall seeing this before but I could just overlooked it.

Carl Bühler Esslingen was the hat store that sold this Homburg Hat. Unfortunately they went out of business (after 130 years) back in 2023.

Stefan, Thank you! I believe I only have two Resoluts Soft Felts. I was lucky this one was my size. I agree with the Brim width. This one also has lower Crown profile which I like with the wider Brim.Very nice find, Steve. Rarely see Resolut hats. I like a homburg with a more generous brim.
