Quality of Johnson Leathers?

I've been trying to get a good half belt with a roomier chest and cropped fit but everything I found so far either fits too trim or too long. And if it does check all the boxes it's sold out...

Debating on making a custom with johnson leathers. Does anybody have experience doing a custom pattern with them? If so what are your thoughts and how is the quality of shinki that they source? I know that can vary

Best leather jacket experience I've had. Certainly by far better than the other American custom shop I went through once.

The same as everywhere else.

They are great to work with and make great jackets. They will do what you ask them to though. That can be either good or bad. If you insist on Frankenjacket, you get Frankenjacket.

I wonder if they good with pattern matching. Say sending them a pictures of a jacket and asking for a repro basically. I know thats kind of hard just because you need to eyeball proportions and ratios without having a physical reference in front of you

What do you have in mind? They have almost certainly made something in that vein already.
