Hey guys, I'm selling this jacket as I am a hungry growing boy and no longer fit this comfortably. Bought this from our very own Monitor about 5 years ago (original thread), I wore it the first few years but it's just hanging in my closet now.

Selling this for €170 + shipping (around €20 in Europe, depending on country, €40-50 to the US)

It is no exaggeration to say this jacket is built like a tank, weighing in at 3kg - for a fairly short jacket. It was labeled as 44 but the measurements aren't quite that big and the quilted lining + thickness/toughness of the leather eats up a bit more of that measurement. A detail I love about this jacket is that the hand pockets are made of canvas, super tough and completely befitting the character of the jacket. Make no mistake, this is not a refined jacket.
As for the label - the original makers label is missing and it's not certain who the manufacturer is. I will defer to the consensus at the time that this jacket was made by either Natal or Walter Dyer. It is USA made, to be sure.

The leather is in great condition, besides some scuffs there are 0 tears or holes. As Monitor noted there are some minor issues, but I gotta say I never noticed these during use. The only thing that ever bothered me is that the zippers won't lay flat, I'm guessing they were stitched too tightly due to the leather thickness.
  • Lining inside the left sleeve cuff is a bit frayed
  • Lining at the bottom left of the torso has some odd wear/damage, no real holes or tears though
  • Small part of the right sleeve zipper tab broke off - most of it remains and is fully functional
  • Zippers don't lay flat
Measurements:
P2P: 61cm 24,0"
Sleeve 61cm 24,0"
Front 52cm 20,5"
Back 58cm 22,8"
S2S: 51cm 20,1"

Based on the quilting pattern I would guess that yours is a NATAL jacket. I don't know for sure, but I've seen that type of quilted stitch pattern on Natal jackets. Walter Dyer used the same pattern for the leather shell, but usually they had a leather patch for the brand label inside for the tag, while Natal used a fabric tag. Since yours is without a tag I would guess more likely it probably had a cloth tag. The leather tags were sewn in so well I doubt they would come undone, unless deliberately removed.

Thank you for adding this information. Looking at other listings and comparing the quilting, it certainly looks like the what Natal used on some of their jackets. I've found no WD jackets ever using it. And it makes sense the missing tag would be cloth, another piece of information pointing to Natal - I'm convinced!

Weird, I can't see the pictures? "Content not viewable in your Region"...Based in UK. Brexit?
Oh I forgot about that. I think it has to do with the UK online safety law. I uploaded the images here
