Himel Bros Avro - Dark Brown Shinki Horsehide 44 (fits like 40/42)

Purchased this jacket from another member of the forum earlier this year. Stunning jacket and the fit is close to what I want, but just not quite right for my build. I’d rather pass this on to someone else who may fit it better than have it hang in my closet with minimal wear. For reference, I am 6’2”, 185lbs with a lean build and medium-short torso.

Original owner bought it in 2017 and said he wore it a decent amount.
In excellent condition, no damage or odors, still smells like shinki leather, lining just has some minor discoloration.

Tag Size 44, but I’d say this fits more like a 40 or 42

To anybody. I’ve never owned a Thedi. Does that slit in the back make it more comfortable and accommodating. I just don’t like the way the slit looks. Just sayin

I have a PonyBoy with a similar slit in the middle. I normally wear a size 40–42, and because of that slit, I almost wish I had sized down. It gives you plenty of freedom of movement, but it can make the chest area difficult to fit properly. That said, I absolutely love my PonyBoy—the hide is fantastic, the color is beautiful, and overall it's a great jacket.

If you are interested, I'll be listing my sz 38 brown Ponyboy come fall. I had the main zipper replaced by Dena with a real Talon zipper that matches perfectly but is chunkier and works much better than the stock zipper. Feel free to holler if you decide you would like to size down!

I also agree with the assessment of the back pleat / action, the ponyboy in 38 has great mobility for me, where I usually fit a 40 best in most jackets. Also on the Ponyboy specifically, it has huge lapels, so sizing down helps make them look less prominent.
