This is absolutely beautiful!
This dates from between 1962 and 1968, judging by the interior Union tag as well as by the classic 1960s cut, interior labels, patterning and colourway.
It is made from either lightweight wool or else a blend of wool and cotton. My pictures don't do this justice at all; it has a dark brown base, with muted shadowplaid overchecking in bracket and russet.
The jacket is cut as a classic 1960s 2-button sack, with narrow 1960s lapels and narrow 1960s pocket flaps. It is half-lined, and has a twin rear vent. It has two button cuffs. It was very natural shoulders.
It was, of course, Union made in the USA.
It is in excellent condition, and a bargain at $35, boxed shipped and insured in the USA!
