John Lofgren Monkey Boots Shinki Horsebuttt - $1,136 The classic monkey boot silhouette in an incredibly rich Shinki russet horse leather.
Grant Stone Diesel Boot Dark Olive Chromexcel - $395 Goodyear welted, Horween Chromexcel, classic good looks.
Schott 568 Vandals Jacket - $1,250 The classic Perfecto motorcycle jacket, in a very special limited-edition Schott double rider style. Open Road Thursday and a lead in to Memorial Day. Nice little embroardered liner 3x in a Long Oval. Still has the original $16 price tag inside the sweatband from Barrys Dept Store in Killeen Tx ( Ft Hood, Tx). I found this hat in a Cookeville Tn thrift store (The town that my Mothers family is from) The seller indicated it came from the estate of an local Army helicopter pilot that died in Viet Nam in 1967. Major Johnie Wright Jr.
With the condition of the hat, Im supposing he may have bought this hat just before deploying overseas and shipped his belongings home. My privilege to be its current caretaker.
Thoughts, remembrances, and prayers for those who gave it all on this Memorial Day weekend

Well, I was running out the door to get us a steak for dinner before the steak-getting place closes, and lo and behold it’s pouring down rain. I went and to my wife and I was like dang it I can’t wear my silk cap in this mess.

Nice one, Rob!
Very nice, Marcel. Love that pipe, too!Warm weather in the Nethetlands, so wearing the "Optimo" panamahat (not "the" Optimo) which i shaped to my liking. Give the brim a little curl, it was too flat for my liking. I think it suits wellView attachment 788311 View attachment 788312
