Killer McCoys A2 purchased in 2020 (older fit) directly from Kento Tsujimoto from Real McCoys who brought it from Japan for me in Los Angeles. I asked him to pick out the best one he had, and he chose this one that features a beautiful grain, where most of them you see (or I see) are fairly smooth. It's really beautiful and the texture is amazing. More grain than any A2 I've seen.
Killer patina is starting to appear on some of the edges and higher friction areas. There's just nothing quite like this Shinki tea-core horse hide, IMO. Knit cuffs and waistband are in great shape - there's one tiny little hole in the waistband (see photo) that's not visible when the jacket is worn, and a very small snag in one of the cuffs. Lining is in perfect shape.
