A vintage Harvey Brothers fedora. Harvey Brothers was a Midwestern clothing chain, based in Indiana. Whoever was making their hats did a bang up job. Fine felt and real leather.

Karl Misik "KAMI" "Mode de Paris", Wool, possibly late 1930s early 1940s. This hat is from my May 2015 NOS Czech find.

Karel Misík O. F. Hess Unified Factory, Karlin Czechoslovakia. The Karlin factory only lasted a couple years post WWII as a hat factory. Here is what the factory & villa looked like pre WWII and the buildings & villa somewhat recently.

Open Road: Spent the week in Boulder, celebrating the kid's graduation.

Many of us are familiar with the mint green Borsalino sold by JJ's, but today I went with its cousin, the bold red version.

Pulled out my Meyer the Hatter lid for the morning coffee run. Zero manufacturer markings anywhere on this one so its sort of a mystery hat. Id put it on par with the older Stetson 3x beaver hat like I had on yesterday.

Echter Mayser "Spezial", possibly mid to late 1950s. Worn in "Camber" style which is Brim Up. I found this Soft Felt back in 2020.

Mayser Miniature Hat Cartons for Gift Certificates, made by Zeitler - Karton, Murnau / Oberbayern (still in business today but not making these anymore). They are really well made and the dimensions (L x W x H) are approximately 4 1/4 x 4 x 2 1/4 inches. I found them back in 2018.
