Nice little grey Royal Deluxe Open Road today. Love this little hat but always get a little sad that the liner dissappeared sometime before it joined my walls. Ill just claim I took the liner out so I could wear it in warmer weather lol

Having difficulty getting pictures up promptly of late. It’s the weekend and I’m finally posting the hats we chose last weekend to celebrate our 29th anniversary.
Stetson Custom V for me and a black Akubra Leisure Time for Etsuko.

An oaked New Zealand Chardonnay to celebrate. Isabel Estate never fails to deliver quality. This was a creamy, buttery little number that would have been even better in a proper Chardonnay glass. View attachment 782025
VERY handsome pair of hats, Gary!!

Karl Misik (KAMI) "Special" possibly late 1930s early 1940s. Karel Misík was located in Husinec (Bohemia), Czechoslovakia. Karl Misik took over O.F. Hess Prague from his uncle and moved all production to Husinec. This Wool Soft Felt was part of 2015 New Old Stock Czech find.

Here are the photos from the seller that show all the hats and the two wooden frame cardboard crates. They were all Soft Felt Hats from the 1930s and early 1940s.

Love the hats as well as that wonderful shirt you're wearing, not to mention your and Etsuko’s ensemble, Gary.

Congratulations on your anniversary. But come on, 29 years? You kids are too young for that.

Love all of these. I think - *** to my head - the Mossant might be my favorite. That or the Borsalino. I definitely have a type. :)

Superb! I’ve long since given up on selecting a number one from your postings.

Also, you have too many coats. You can send me that first birdseye if you need to make room in your closet. ;)

What a stellar lineup. All fantastic. The TW Lee is very unique and glad to see you got the Vroom and Dreesmann… and Echter Mayser right into rotation.

Woot, yowza, snap, and woo-hoo!!!! What a magnificent showing, with quite a few I don't remember seeing before!! There's a LOT to love in this week's showing, that's for sure!! For me, it's the Panizza misto as #1, the Panizza Grafite as #2, and an unbreakable tie for #3 between the Barbisio and the Vroom and Dreesmann. I'll be revisiting this post to dream and drool, for WEEKS, Stefan!! Thanks for sharing!
