J. Hückel'a Synove Vídeň (J. Hückel´s Söhne Wien), made for the Czech market and from the early 1900s under Austria Hungary. I really like the lower profile and striking Liner and unique textured Sweatband. Also it has a very tight Brim Curl. I found this Stiff Felt back in 2013

This a photo of the Paper Label that I took back in 2013. What is interesting is the French Point Size is in Quarters "Weite / Size 5 3/4" and not Halves. J. Hückel´s Söhne used French Point Quarters Sizing in this time period.

J. Hückel´s Söhne "110 Year Anniversary" (1909) booklet so in the same time period as the above Stiff Felt. I found the booklet back in 2012.

Wow!!! That is possibly the most unique brim curl I have ever seen, Steve! And that liner is to die for!!! Awesome!!

Dog-walk this morning took place under my 1943 Stetson Slant.

This might seem heretical to some, but I have decided that, honoring the past not withstanding, I will no longer be wearing this in its original "slant" styling. To me, the whole explanation/sales hype for the design was just
really bad marketing buffoonery. I see it as the fedora equivalent of pre-torn jeans, another styling gimmick I've been wincing at for 50+ years.

But the color is magnificent, and the hat itself is quite a beauty, worn "properly."
