Steve, all I can see of today's pics is the pocket mirror.Hückel Weilheim "Chevreau", mid 1950s. The light green Felt has a very fine "Chevreau" finish. I really like this Soft Felt but I haven't worn it in a couple years I found this Soft Felt back in 2011.

Mark, Thanks! I forgot to get edit the Flickr string. Should be ok now.Steve, all I can see of today's pics is the pocket mirror.
I have the same in a sort of loden type grey/brown. It’s the softest hat I own. Too soft for daily wear I think but great for formal wear days.Today: Modern Boraslino "Como" in a dark sort of moss green. Very, very, light thin felt!

Dan, you have a doppelgänger.View attachment 778254
Trip up to Nasu Animal Kingdom on the Nasu Plateau (a well kept secret that feels a lot like being back in the uplands of Mid Wales) with the family. Ideal spring weather to give the Campdraft its first outing.
The brim is starting to soften up and take a better shape, I can see this hat being really easy to wear despite its size.
My only complaint was that the button on the wind chord fell apart as I was putting it back in place. I’ll have to mend that with a bit of superglue.
Oh, wow!!! That is a GORGEOUS hat, Steve!! I have a Portis that's a similar shade, and it's probably my favorite fedora. That is, for me, an astonishingly attractive hat! Glad to see you on the road Nathan. No worries…. The Lounge hasn’t had time for most of us lately either.
Love those 3X mode edges! This one is in such a great color!Same here. When I have time to come on here, it works less than half the time.
I did get a chance to wear the JBS 3XME today. Flatbedding is such dirty work that I usually only wear the Northwest Hats.
This next week I'll stop home and pick up an Akubra (oh yeah, also a bunch of tools and gear and other non-essentials.).
Happy weekend friends.

Mark, Thank you! I look forward to seeing your Portis in action again!Oh, wow!!! That is a GORGEOUS hat, Steve!! I have a Portis that's a similar shade, and it's probably my favorite fedora. That is, for me, an astonishingly attractive hat! Thanks for sharing!!
John Lofgren Monkey Boots Shinki Horsebuttt - $1,136 The classic monkey boot silhouette in an incredibly rich Shinki russet horse leather.
Grant Stone Diesel Boot Dark Olive Chromexcel - $395 Goodyear welted, Horween Chromexcel, classic good looks.
Schott 568 Vandals Jacket - $1,250 The classic Perfecto motorcycle jacket, in a very special limited-edition Schott double rider style. The Borsalino is a dream, but I have to admit to being equally impressed with a straw bowler, something I have never seen before.View attachment 778338 View attachment 778339 View attachment 778340 View attachment 778341 View attachment 778342 View attachment 778343 View attachment 778344 View attachment 778345 View attachment 778346 It was warm enough for light straw, so wore my Texas Hatters Cuenca bowler the other day, but mostly I’ve been wearing this Borsalino Marque Grand Luxe.
Thank you so much, Joe.Very sharp, Steve
Oddly enough I decided to shave this morning for the first time this year, my annual ‘spring shearing’ you might say.
