Interest check - Lost Worlds J24 size 36

Hope you're all well and enjoying a terrific weekend and Olympics.

I have an odd post for the Classifieds:

I have a horsehide Lost Worlds J24 size 36 with the detachable mouton collar and horsehide belt that I'm potentially looking to find a new home for - the reason being that I've found another D-pocket (that I've been looking for, for a while) and the sale of the LW would pay for the new one.

The LW is a terrific jacket and is in really great condition including the mouton and belt, and there are no odors of any kind.

The lining is intact and the leather is showing some good grain and creases. The only issue is the zipper on the D-pocket is off the track, but that personally has never bothered me as I don't use it. I know someone who can fix the zipper for a terrific price if anyone is interested.

Just the same, the leather zipper pulls are all in place and the only bit of wear is on the belt loop on the left side and the lower zipper placket - and by wear I mean the top coat has worn a bit.

I'll be trying the new jacket on Monday and if it fits I'll put the LW in the classifieds - I'm just writing today to see if there's interest in mine. The LW jacket is located in North America and I'm happy to ship wherever.

Current price for a new J24 with the belt is $3,075 USD, and I'm happy to go half that on this one. Happy as well to send photos and measurements. Again, just checking interest at the moment.

By the way, it's my understanding that anything below a size 38 in LW is a custom order, so this would fall into that category.

I don't think you'll have any problem selling a LW J24 for $1500 on a forum full of leather jacket fiends. This is way too small for me but please do post photos.

Hi all,

Enclosed are a few photos showing front, back, and the studded belt. If the new jacket fits on Monday then I'll follow through with the sale of this LW and post tape-measure photos, and more detailed shots of the grain.

Thank you in advance, and my apologies for testing the water like this - not looking to tease anyone, just want to see if there's interest prior to committing to the potential new piece Monday.

@postman10mm I measured twice and got right at 24" and then 24 1/4". Happy to provide more photos and more information tomorrow after I try on the other jacket. Enjoy the evening, looking forward to speaking with you again.

This LW really is a great jacket and I wouldn't be parting with it unless I had found the other piece. Again, will provide an update tomorrow. Hope the sleeves work for you.
