I had a blast last night hanging out with the crew while wearing my "Snowflake" hat by Brian Forbes.

It was a pretty mild weathered day and decided to wear this late 40's to early 50's Resistol Beaver Fifteen in kitten finish. The felt on this is very soft and the color is a deep chocolate brown. I wasn't completely happy with this shape on my head, so ended up reshaping it when I got home this evening. I'm sure I'll be posting it again one of these days in it's new form.

This was once a Stetson Open Road (still a Stetson!). There were several moth holes that were about 1/8" that went all the way through. The original band was stained beyond any effort to get it presentable, the sweat band was rotten and in pieces. So off to @belfastboy for some magic to be administered.
Reblocked, new wider hat band and a new leather sweat.
Thank you Robert!!

The Stetson Custom V. That hat Stefan, as The French might say, has some serious: "Ooh-la-la!
Cream hat 005.JPG
My hat today, worn at the request of Tina, just doesn't quite have that same ooh-la-la. Hopefully, Gamble & G-unn, who made it, are not reading this, they might want to disagree.

On this very cold South Florida day this very old Mallory black heathered long hair. And to add some fun while returning to the car after breakfast with the family a big gust of wind blew it right off my head and sent me chasing it down the street in the parking lot. When I made it back to the car my wife said… “Oh.. I WISH I saw that!!!!”

This is making me scared to return to Tampa Bay tonight from Atlanta. It could be fifteen degrees warmer there by the thermometer, but Florida could just hits way differently.
