Knox 20. One of my favorite blocks and the 2-3/8 brim works really great for my head size.

I have some very good news to share - good news to match these lovely clear skies after a gloomy and difficult week:

I am officially legal to get back to work in the semi truck. I did not expect my Department of Transportation physical be anywhere near as pain free as it was. Apparently long-COVID is not something they care to investigate very closely, and nobody even asked me about it at my physical (I did report it).

So after more than 3 years out of the driver seat, I am officially back on the job market. This process could take a few months or it could happen very quickly. I am already in touch with one company and will contact others tomorrow.

Lots of changes on my horizon, friends. If you see less of me here, it doesn't mean I am thinking less of you. I'll definitely try to keep up with the hat parade, even if I post much less regularly.

Decent cool front yesterday.. Played with a new cast iron bread loaf pan last night ( hot bread and cool weather is a good combination. Today I got the fire pit fired up, a big ol Peterson pip lit up, and a Beaver Hats Open Roadish thing on the head
