That looks good! Great work you do sir

Two definite winners, Rick. Nice work! One down one to go! Got up this morning and got some leather conditioner on both the refurb hats. I ironed / re-tied the ribbon on the newly cleaned Stetson with the moth bites. Felts looking good after the naptha dried overnight. Just need to fit a new liner. Not 100% finished and Not my hat, but Im wearing it out today! Too bad it has some moth damage, but its sill a sharp hat.

The other hats looking promising too... still havent found any felt damage. The liner did clean up nicely. Ill get cracking on that one today. Biggest thing with it is deciding whether to try and reuse the old ribbon ( fair bit of discoloring). New grosgrain standing by if needed. It should be on top of the head tomorrow! Taped a bit of new ribbon on the longhair just to check... its just a hair wider than the original ribbon and Im thinking this will be the way to go. This ones an incredibly soft hat

first time I donned it for a funeral.
Hard to post a like given the occasion but the hat is remarkable and looks great on you.I have always thought this French made lid was something that was worn by an undertaker, but yesterday was the first time I donned it for a funeral. It worked!

Fantastic news, Nathan. Good to hear you're getting back.Knox 20. One of my favorite blocks and the 2-3/8 brim works really great for my head size.
I have some very good news to share - good news to match these lovely clear skies after a gloomy and difficult week:
I am officially legal to get back to work in the semi truck. I did not expect my Department of Transportation physical be anywhere near as pain free as it was. Apparently long-COVID is not something they care to investigate very closely, and nobody even asked me about it at my physical (I did report it).
So after more than 3 years out of the driver seat, I am officially back on the job market. This process could take a few months or it could happen very quickly. I am already in touch with one company and will contact others tomorrow.
Lots of changes on my horizon, friends. If you see less of me here, it doesn't mean I am thinking less of you. I'll definitely try to keep up with the hat parade, even if I post much less regularly.
Happy start to your work week, hat lovers.
