Really damp and foggy this morning... AKUBRA TIME! Todays a Banjo Paterson day. Im glad the puppy wants to join in, but all too frequently he keeps moving at the wrong time and throws off the focus off the hat lol

The BP is a great hat! I don't give mine nearly the love it deserves. Every time I dig it out and put it on, I'm reminded of how much I like it. Then it gets put up and forgot about for a long time. Mine's the standard Imperial felt. Mr. Bear looks like he's settled in well. He looks much more at ease in his surroundings. I remember when you first started showing him on here and he looked nervous and perhaps a bit skittish. Looks like he's figured out that he has a safe home where he is well loved, fed, and taken care of.

This Susquehana, made to measure, always gets my lady's compliments, there again, it does show off her skill to good effect. She made the shirt and repaired the tie and jacket. I bought both from a trader at a festival quite cheaply, the tie had become unstitched and the jacket needed a new lining,.

For a trip to Miami for our sons graduation, I took only one hat.

Mark and other FL fellows, thank you for your kind words.
I've always shared hats from my vast, if not very vast, collection for the past decade or more.
Last year, I almost completely stopped due to health issues.
This year, I returned to my usual recovery mode. In recent months, I've been back to full capacity, so I've resumed buying and displaying.
At the beginning of 2024, I completed my hat census with the decision to sell a good portion of my collection. Then something went wrong, and I found myself on hold.
I have to thank you and all the Fedora Lounge participants, whose appreciation has rekindled my desire to start over and supported me in times of need.
At our age, a happy ending is truly that. We’re all (or most) here to support our collective health, Daniele. Your report is a breath of fresh air, thank you.
To you, and ALL our members… be well, stay well, my friend!!
