What a score, Daniele!!A new addition to the collection in the Western Veneto region.
It's well known that I have a penchant for black hats, and this one was a gamble that almost paid off.

Sold as a size 61 hat with no name, the manufacturer's name, Huckel, and the shape of the lettering on the lining reminded me of some of Steve's other hats (mayserwegener).

I liked it, and so I received a Huckel "Flexible" - "Skin" in a lightweight, foldable felt, which is gorgeous.

It's a size 58, and, as is often the case with Central European hats, I can wear it occasionally. This one fits my head well, even if it's a little tight.
It has a date stamped on the paper label: March 24, 1954. Everything else is on the lining.

A NOS Borsalino Vercelli III (name probably chosen by Bencraft Hatters) in a steel gray, from our friend, @besdor. He still has these NOS hats that he occasionally digs out in various styles, and, if you can't make it to Brooklyn, check him out on eBay.

I wore the other Stetson guy's hat enjoying morning coffee.
I changed to an Adam fedora for a jaunt to the grocery store.
