Great parade Stefan. I’m between the GBBFL and the Wehrmeier
What an EXCEPTIONALLY tasty lineup you've presented today, Stefan! I'm going with the GB Borsalino fu Lazzaro Savoy as #3, the Wehsmeir as #2, and, unusal for me, a tie for 1st place: the Tirard Supra Cacao and the Borsalino Ludosca. WONDERFUL showing, sir! Thanks, as always, for making Sundays so special.
Thank you very much, gentlemen.

Today's hat is normally my rainy day workhorse; my Stetson Stampede conversion.
It's getting some fair weather use because I just finished re-blocking it. After more than a year of wet/dry, the crown was sinking inward. I've owned several of these 3D printed blocks over the years, but this is the first time I tried a flat-top block. I think it really did the job!
I wanted nice crisp edges on the crown. When I blocked it, it sat perfectly flat like a Spanish Bolero. Once I removed it, I put a pinch in it and went with a more shallow, frying pan-tear drop crease, in order to lift the height of the crown a little more. My next step will be to give it a thorough cleaning and remove the traces of the old crease.

We have lots of copperheads in my neck of the woods. I have often fantasized about "harvesting" one for the hide to make a hat band. But I just dream and keep on being the way I am.
Not many copperheads round here, to see one is very rare. Plenty of rattlers and cottonmouths though and I used to tan their hides and make stuff for sale as a 16 year old’s income.
If you ever wish to make it “down on some blue bayou” I’ll show ya how to tan a snake and make it into a hat band, but you’d have to bring your own copperhead with you. Dead, preferably. :)

My one and only brim hat, on way out to have a beer and watch some music. Live in Ireland, so fear I've gone a bit too western with the coat etc, but the Stetson will keep my head warm/dry on the way home later
Nice pairing, sir. And IMO, there's no such thing as "too western", regardless of where you are geographically! Rock that look!

Handsome feller under that ol' hat! I wish I could get down there to tan some snake hides, but the road I'm on don't seem to go there.
