Pretty decent storm overnight so things are a tad bit damp and chilly....threw a nice old roadworn Akubra Campdraft up top to keep the head comfy, and fired up the fire pit for coffee outside

Nice one, HJ! I like the way you shape your hats with a higher cattleman to preserve more crown height. Or at least it appears that way to me.
Thanks Phil. If you like the style then study the pics & everything about the 1920’s - 1930’s Western dress fedora. The height is all in the blocking & the crease. I don’t remember the thread but Jared @jlee562 made an excellent post on blocking & buying blocks. Study & understand blocking.

The newest addition to the collection arrived this morning in the sun and cold.

When I took the photos, the temperature had risen, highlighting the changing colors of autumn.

Vanzina, original, therefore from the 1950s. Size 60 cm. The color is "Mogano," and the quality is designated by the letter G.

Medium-textured felt, malleable, yet very firm. The hat is carefully finished, and the materials used are of high quality.

As always, thank you for your likes. Every day and every occasion is a good time to congratulate you on the parade of hats I can admire.
That is a VERY handsome hat, Daniele!!
