Thanks! The lining is cotton, feels dense and sits tightly in place. However it is nothing special. Perhaps most telling is that I haven't really thought twice about it whereas I've had jackets with liners that feel cheap and/or loose.
Thanks for your description. It must be the same cotton they use on the Innovator, which I quite like, except it it’s not quilted. I guess it’s a good sign if you don’t notice it.

Where can I pick one up in the US?
Where do you live? Snake Oil Provisions in Los Angeles sells their jackets, but they don’t carry the 1930s jacket. I’m not sure if they can order it for you or not. I just ordered directly from the website in Japan. I ordered my Innovator directly from the Japanese website. It was less expensive and it took roughly 30 days for it to arrive.

I believe I've lost my mind as well. I've been eyeballing the classic 1930 in black deerskin for some time now, might pull the trigger soon. I've read everything I can about deerskin jackets and people seem to really like them.

The fact is that my classic 1930s in size 44 is at its best with just a t-shirt underneath. Like I previously wrote, a thin extra layer is doable but if I'm honest with myself, if extra layers are needed I find myself reaching for my other jackets.

Only difference between size 46 and 44 is shoulders and pit to pit. Also deerskin supposedly drapes nicely and is very comfortable as it's soft and pliable. So basically I've convinced myself I need the deerskin in size 46 for the colder days of autumn. Lol.

Mine is breaking in nicely. I slept in it last night… Hahaha

Unless it’s really soft leather and loosely fit, I’ve found that my joints hurt so bad the next day if I were to wear a leather jacket to sleep. Not worth it.

Somehow I slept like a baby.

You prob don’t move around while you sleep. In contrast, I move around a lot, swinging my arms and all, while I sleep. So my body becomes sore from the movements that got restricted by the tight jacket.
