Resistol 3X Hand felted edge. Everything was cool, wet & dewy this morning. Spots are shadows from drops on the glass.
This morning the recently rehomed Brown, Beaver Brand, Open Road-ish hat made the coffee run...Digging this hat more each time I wear it

My absence began with an embarrassing tumble onto the deck as I was about finished loading my vehicle for the 3-1/2 hour ride home. Fortunately, all The boxes and especially the Cavanagh Milan (rear, center of photo) served to break my fall. The subtle dents left on that hat are now badges of honor, adding to its provenance.

Following a week of hospital "incarceration," (a decision made to keep me close to the surgeons in the event of sudden loss of all sensation below the neck) I enjoyed spinal surgery in the form of a “cervical laminectomy." Glad I could wait, as I got the "A" team from neurosurgery.
Imagine leaving home, thinking you'll be back in a few hours, and ending up being away for 2 weeks!!
ALWAYS wear clean underwear!!!

In recovery I also donned the Borsa thin ribbon.

OMG! Charlie, stay safe and well. Hoping for a full recovery for you, my friend. My absence began with an embarrassing tumble onto the deck as I was about finished loading my vehicle for the 3-1/2 hour ride home. I did my best, and hope I missed nobody. (No longer on narcotics but pain meds nonetheless). Thank you all most kindly for your words of encouragement and wisdom. You make the healing process a little less painful. It will take time, but with your company I will be here on the mend. Thank you all again!!!
For sure, Rick! Hat hunting or shopping is most therapeutic and very healing. My only deterrent is the warden, err…. Wife.In person finding and buying trips are usually fun but theres always ebay and shipping to your door... maybe time for some therapeutic shopping! lol
