40s White Label Lee that came with period correct Lee hat box. Just came in this evening. Nice felt quality in typical fedora colors. 7 1/4 but fits like a perfectly sized cloud! Of course with the White Label (second from top) the leather sweatband is high quality, as well. Love it!

The bespoke Susquehana is today's hat, on this glorious autumnal sunny morning. It's an early start, I have an appointment with an oncologist surgeon at half nine, to assess this wretched hernia, so I had better get a move on.
Hope your appointment goes well. I have mentioned both yourself and @fabiovenhorst as two of the most dapper gentlemen we have here on TFL. One thing I always wanted to ask you but never got around to it ... what brand of shoes are you wearing in your photos?

Today, I am going live at 11am EST for "Hat Tuesday #2" while wearing the same Borsalino Velour I posted yesterday. I had a great conversation with Nathan (@The Lost Cowboy) and Jeff (@jeffgarf) about Borsalino and the use of the term "pre-bankruptcy" and I figured I would open this up for discussion during my livestream today. Pop in if you want to talk about Borsalino or anything else hat-related.

Playing with the tall Resistol this morning.. Still havent decided on a full time bash. Tried a more or less level one first... its a tall boy!

Here's one we don't see every day. A SuperDuper from Italy. As many know, these guys incorporate some funky stuff into the design of their hats. This one had a small stone attached near the top of the ribbon on the hat band. Just a quick snip-snip and I have a fairly nice blue fedora with a 5 inch crown and a 2 1/2 inch brim. Not vintage by any means, but good for another overcast day.

That actually made me smile. It reminded me of my childhood in Brooklyn, NY when we would take annual field trips to Hersheypark in Hershey, Pennsylvania. Since 1977, they featured a ride called the "sooperdooperLooper", which is a steel roller coaster. The sooperdooperLooper was the first inverting roller coaster at the park, which sold t-shirts with the slogan "I survived the sooperdooperLooper".

Nice old Adam, Nate! Love that wide binding and liner color!
Thanks Randall! That White Label Lee is fun. You guys really come up with gems. I wonder what your hat room looks like?

Now theres a SKINNY ribbon! lol. Assuming it once had a ribbon, but I think it actually looks really clean without one
Thanks Rick. It had a puggarree ribbon originally but I like it much better without. It's a favorite and would get more head time if I had more confidence in the sweatband.

I like the look of the tall crown, Rick, so I wouldn't change it. But that's just my opinion.

Love the leather jacket. Nice constrating match with the Resistol.
