The Gamble & ***n bespoke hat is worn to church this
morning at Tina's request. It's a pleasure to please the lady.

Thank you Mark, much appreciated.

Thank you too, Stefan. Your observation did bring a smile. When our weights, measures and distances went metric, the pill was too bitter to swallow. Even though the UK has been going metric since 1965, all our road signs stating destinations, are still in miles.
Even those born long after our imperial measurents were consigned to history, still quote their body weight in stones and pounds. (There's 14 pounds in a stone.)

And to bring the subject back on track, my hat size is 61cm. Yeah right.

Seven & a half is the hat size that I wear.
I thought stones were made up of pebbles ;). Nah, you're only resisting because it was invented by the French don't you? Remember: Sweden switched to driving on the, ahem, correct side of road in a single day without any problems.
Let's stick to hats for now. Looking good there as usual Robert.

For the final day of StingyPendence Week I’m wearing a not-so-stingy 1950s/60s Disney Italian Milan. See you all for StingyMas in a few months.

Barbisio Odessa

Archaeological evidence suggests that the Romans, who had a significant influence on Britain, drove on the left. A practice in the pre-car era that allowed the right hand to greet or defend.
This practice may have continued through the centuries, becoming ingrained in British culture.
Here in Britain the steering wheel is on the right side. Elsewhere it's on the wrong side.

No arguments about the elegant Barbisio Stefan, a real beauty without compromise.
