Good morning. During my morning dog soirée a Borsolino fedora was my choice. This 30-40's hat sold at Hurley's in N.B. Canada is minty.

Another hat sold at Hurley's in Canada was my morning walkabout fedora. This Kensington hat has a high crown and a 2.25" brim. The flange gives the hat a cupped feature to the back of the brim. It is in mInty condition.

Threw on a Royal Deluxe Open Road this morning and headed over to the big Crockett, Texas holiday car show... 7 vehicles if you count the pickup that brought the awnings , tables, and folding chairs lol. Was thinking I should have pulled in and paid an entry fee for the Tahoe.....could have won an award for the SUV class? Oh well ...the mornings hat part worked

StingyPendence? Had to look that up: "Pendence" generally refers to the state of being undecided. It can also mean being suspended or hanging. Curious definition, but one thing is for sure Steve: "You wear that hat so well; it looks like it was made for you!"

Tina made these trousers, with the hat that Gamble & ***n made, in mind. They compliment one another so well that I chose the felt rather than a straw, even though we are enjoying some serious sunshine. Tina even bought the tie, it was one of those chance purchases that she came across at a vintage festival. I love it.

Here's to the stars and stripes—Happy 4th of July!
Lovely summer outfit, Robert. Independence pending? Maybe the Americans secretly yearn for the return of George III. They even kept his measuring system. Not even his own people did that! :D

Two pre-war beauties, Eric. Love the art-deco type logo designs on the Kensington.

Quite elegant, Robert!
Thank you Mark, much appreciated.

Thank you too, Stefan. Your observation did bring a smile. When our weights, measures and distances went metric, the pill was too bitter to swallow. Even though the UK has been going metric since 1965, all our road signs stating destinations, are still in miles.
Even those born long after our imperial measurents were consigned to history, still quote their body weight in stones and pounds. (There's 14 pounds in a stone.)

And to bring the subject back on track, my hat size is 61cm. Yeah right.

Seven & a half is the hat size that I wear.
