Very sharp…. And what a crown!
Very sharp…. And what a crown!
VERY striking hat!
Definitely a winner, Timmy!!It's Whippet Wednesday down here at Rock Bottom. Something about these old hats that draws me in like a moth to a flame. View attachment 714728 View attachment 714729 View attachment 714730 View attachment 714731
…to join @BobHufford in his StingyPendance celebration.
Sharp look.I've been getting some wear out of the JBS 7XCP (clear polyester).
I did remove the polyester liner so it's a pretty cool summer beater now.
Still has a polyesters ribbon and stitching... but the felt itself is actually nice and soft (probably rabbit? Dunno...)
I like this hat.

John Lofgren Monkey Boots Shinki Horsebuttt - $1,136 The classic monkey boot silhouette in an incredibly rich Shinki russet horse leather.
Grant Stone Diesel Boot Dark Olive Chromexcel - $395 Goodyear welted, Horween Chromexcel, classic good looks.
Schott 568 Vandals Jacket - $1,250 The classic Perfecto motorcycle jacket, in a very special limited-edition Schott double rider style. Hopefully that will suffice.

Im afraid Im another deprived individual without any really short brim straws for Stingypendance week.. So Ill throw in my Akubra East Coast. One of my favorite green hats. 1-3/4" brim and gorgeous green liner. Greens a good summer color- right? For the third day of Stingypendence Week I’m wearing a 1960s Churchill Italian Milan from Neiman Marcus. You all CAN play along at home you know — I can’t be the only one with stingy summer hats.

Thanks Joe. A bit warm for today, just wore it in the morning!!Looks good Marcel!
Going with a Capas homburg in the sunny middle east, courtesy of Sherlock Hats in downtown Jerusalem. There are a lot of hat stores in this city, but Sherlock is the only one that caters to the general public, religious and non-religious alike. Everyone can buy at any other store. As long as you like black felt, they'll have you covered. Sherlock's got everyone else. View attachment 714969
Jack; Thanks. I am traveling for a few days. When I get back home I will do a side by side of the Gannon and Stetson Combers.
