Putting some feelers out there for a recent catch and release candidate with this Matchless "Kensington" jacket in black leather size Large (equivalent to about a US 42 or UK 50). The leather is in fantastic condition as well as the interior lining, so it seems the seller wasn't lying when they said they'd only worn it a handful of times. The fit is pretty forgiving and not as slim fitting as some of the other Matchless jackets I've tried. The leather is pretty soft and has been treated with natural beeswax, which gives the jacket "a rich patina, remarkable durability, and weather resistance." I also really love the use of the soft suede that lines the collar area. It feels very nice around the neck area, which is good considering it's a relatively tall collar. The detailing on the sleeves with the ribbed elbows and under arm areas is another nice touch and I really like the look of mesh lining of the cuffs as I'd definitely choose to wear them unzipped (they're pretty snug when fully zipped up but I'm guessing that's to help sleeve creep when riding?!). Features a double zip closure, snap neck collar, and a multitude of front snap and zip pockets (no interior pockets).
Overall, this is an amazing utility style jacket that can be worn on the back of a bike just as easily as I can paired with some denim and a nice tee. I've included some sizing pics for exact measurements. Includes original hangar.
Measurements are as follows:
Chest: 23 inches P2P
Hem: 21 inches
Sleeves: 26.5 inches
Length: 26 inches
Asking $800 + shipping OR feel free to shoot an offer. Happy to answer any questions or send more pics as needed. Thanks!
