Very nice Perry. Super clean looking, and a great match to that shirt.

Good morning. I wore a Stetson ******* during my dog soirée. This chocolate ******* has a unique ribbon treatment.

Coffee time under the brim of a carmel hued Stetson over welt.

The green ribbon compliments this felt.

The gold hued satin liner is stunning.

A thin ribbon "Classic Mallory" was my choice for a fedora picking up fallen limbs, twigs and detritus in advance of cutting the lawn.

I cut the lawn using my "tool hat." The Sunbody hat has been the go to hat for lawn efforts.

That certainly is a classic. What are the dimensions, if you know?

Jack after comparing the Mallory Classic to a Stetson Stratolioner I see them nearly the same. The open crown of both appear to be nearly the same blocking dimensions. Both have a small amount of taper in the front of the crown, just at the top. I stand on my quoted dimensions, 5 1/2 crown and 2.5" brim. Below are some comparision pics.

This Borsalino was my choice to come along for my wife’s birthday beach break. There are no tags inside this one… but it appears to be in the OR/Strat styling they called Ta Ludora or what would eventually become the Alessandria model

Every now and then a particular hat arrives as a temptation.

I have seen very few straw Barbisios in my life and I believe this is a product of the late production of the Sagliano Micca house.

The horrible writing on the bow is evidence of this and the "shaping" of the hat that has almost vanished in the time in which it remained unsold.

It comes from a very small warehouse remainder. In this photo you can find all the characteristics of the straw with which it was made.

The measurements are, brims at 7cm. the "dark brown" ribbon is 4 centimeters and the height of the crown is 10.5 cm. For now it is the only purchase of 2025...

Moose and I headed over to his annual exam/ shots/ vet visit. Stetson 3x for the trip. Got compliments on the hat and Mr Moose's manners. Afterwards, we stopped by the local healthy food store ( donut shop) Since today is National Donut Day and this week is Mooses birthday, we picked up some croissant sausage rolls as a treat ( yes for both of us lol)

Back from the vets office and had a new box sitting by the door! My New to me Borsalino Alessandria! 2-1/4" bound brim, and a 4-3/4 crown. Beautiful green grey color. Really clean condition and fits perfectly. Zero holes, scuffs or stains. Super nice light soft felt. REALLY comfortable fit. Just needs a little bit of steaming. Finally have a felt Borsalino!

* pretty neat how they do some of their sweatbands, with the "corrugated " area in front to separate the sweatband from the felt.
