The thing is, that liner screams 60s to me. I think its a replacement.
Was thinking same thing that liner sure looks later. Everything else points to late 50s.

That price tag detail Mark added is definitely a useful tool to narrow the window.

W. & G. Schuchard "Flexa" made by Hückel Weilheim, 57 cm possibly mid 1960s. I believe this is the first for sure Hückel Weilheim Original Manufactured hat. "Flexa" is probably short for "Flexible" which is a common Hückel trademark going back to JHS. The "Saale" Form might have a been W. & G. Schuchard request. W. & G. Schuchard was a well known wholesaler / distributor going back to 1879. The black Felt has a nice smooth finish with a very fine hand. The overall quality is high with Hückel Weilheim features such as gold embossed liner and hanging cord.

Hello guys,

Just bought this Cavanagh 7 1/2. Happy that I found my size. Any information about it ? Is it made of beaver ? The felt looks very nice. I will send more pics when I receive it.

Great Cavanagh! It does not mention the "Park Avenue at 47th street New York" on the lining, so not sure about it's date. Maybe someone else nows?

Picked this one up several weeks ago and it's been on the stretcher ever since. Bought it as a homburg, but turned out to be a lords hat.
Brummel's lords hat in black. Qualité de Luxe Castor (so beaver) in a size 55 (which I did know before I bought it). Brim at 6cm and the crown 10,5cm at the center dent.

Traded this a long time a ago with @PanosChris and this week it made it back to me from my hatter (long story). I thought it would look much better with a grosgrain ribbon, instead of the felted ribbon it came with. I'm happy wit the results.
Borsalino MGL Deliaspo in a brown colour called Muflone. Size 57 with the underwelt brim at 7cm and the crown at 11cm at the center dent. Gorgeous chamois felt we've come to expect from the MGL hats.

In a nice coincidence, two separate shipments arrived, each with a new to me hat from a new to me manufacturer. For you stingy brim fans, I present 2 from Pilgrim Fine Men's hats, the manufacturer for Sears Roebuck back in the day. These are obviously from the 60's and if the tag in the last photo was used only during the year of the Sears Jubilee, that would place these hats in the 1961-1962 season.

Never been a big fan of felted ribbons (although some of the Gay Prince-style hats have been growing on me a bit). This looks so much better.
