I have two jackets from marked as Veluokdly. One horsehide D pocket from Tailor Brando bought from eBay, and a horsehide Mulholland bought from Crush on Retro. Both are pretty good quality, but the repo Talon zipper on the D pocket is not that great. It got stuck and the the teeth became all cattywompus. To the credit of Tailor Brando, they sent me a free replacement zipper quickly to get it repaired/replaced. So customer service is good with Tailor Brando.

I don't know if the problem is because I'm in Europe, but the link doesn't work. Thanks anyway.
I'm also in Europe so that shouldn't be it. Strange, I can open it in incognito mode as well so don't know why it doesn't work.

Maybe try searching by "Tailor Brando Washed Old Tea Core Horse Leather 1940s Classic American Retro Lapel Men's Genuine Leather Jacket" and it shows up?

@NCF Man that one looks pretty damn legit, especially on you. Which exact one is this?
I don't get people choosing the overdyed stuff with the reddish brown already showing through when new at all, but your solid black looks very nice.

I'm very confused about the labeling. What is the brand? I have a "Veluokldly" horsehide jacket that I actually love.

But if I order one from "Brando Leathers" on eBay, am I getting the same maker's work or what? Are they all "Crush on Retro" or is that something different?

My "Veluokldly" came to me second hand, so I have no experience with actually ordering a Chinese brand.

Dylan works directly with the factory/makers and does personalized QC, it’s possible CoR and Brando get jackets from the same maker but I trust his OCD level of communication to nail the size and to get a quality version.

I can't say with certainty, but I believe (as has been mentioned here before) that all of these "shops" are just resellers. I've no clue who actually manufactures that labelled brand

Thanks man! Given that I dont know anything about leather I figured that just solid black would be the best alternative. If something else shows up after some wear, that’s just a bonus

The one I bought is this one: https://crushonretro.com/products/riding-leather-jacket-for-men-j24-cowhide?variant=43113611067446
and the main reason is because that was the shortest one.

Tailor Brando has also launched an official website, tailorbrando.com.

I made one purchase from their website and the logistics were very fast, Dylan said that he usually uses Fedex for Europe and DHL for North America, which is a blessing for Europe buyers as you don't need to pre-pay VAT when buying from the website, which saves you a lot of money!

Thanks. There also appears to be an eBay store now.

Anybody know what the tariff situation is for the US? Not asking for political opinions, just clarity on how this works. If I order something from Dylan, do I end up paying 140% more in customs fees when it's delivered to my door? Or is that something the seller pays and gets added to the price I pay at checkout? I mean, I literally have never faced this before.

I have order two from Dylan on AliExpress in the last few weeks. This past week being my most recent. I have had no extra charges shipped DHL to me in the U.S.
With everything going on that could change in the near future.

I know from my many purchases and chatting with Dylan that he typically keeps his declared value around $35-45.

From what I understand, the earliest that customs duties will start to be charged is May 2, and the important thing is that he uses DHL to ship the jackets, and he says that it usually only takes 48-72 hours to ship from China to the U.S., so I would think that if you buy now, you would receive the jackets on April 25th.
