That looks really good. My 1930’s HH half belt had a strong chemical smell that went away.Part gamble, part experiment. It’s a nice jacket overall!

I’ve always been weird about the “shearling” quality from China- you’ll have to let us know how it is.Dylan just listed a sale on his HH Tea Core Grizzly. I pulled the trigger. View attachment 697361 View attachment 697362 View attachment 697363 View attachment 697364

Dylan sent me these photos last night before he shipped. I’m very impressed. The Shearling looks really good in my opinion and so does the color and look of the leather. Dylan has amazing follow up and communication. You won’t be disappointed with his service. If you see something on his page that you like give it a try. The value and quality for what you pay can’t be beat. Now I can look like a bald Hercules wearing the lion that I took down after battle. Lol!

Dylan is the point of Contact for Brando Leathers. He has some of the best customer service I’ve ever experienced. I’m having trouble posting a link.Who’s Dylan? And can you share a link?
Looking forward to your pictures. This thread got me curious enough to browse through Aliexpress and I ended up placing an order for this Tailor Brando Washed Old Tea Core Horse Leather 1940s Classic American Retro Lapel
Now I don't know the original name of this style/pattern, but to me it seems like it's trying to be a 1:1 copy of the Thedi Hektor - it even has the curvy shaped inner pocket + inside armpit leather "reinforcements".
Should be interesting...
