Perfect timing! Mailman arrived with the new Campdraft Deluxe just as a gap in the storms blew over.
Always an exciting moment when something arrives with a bit of box damage... but it all good inside

Perfect weather for the RM Williams jacket and a new Akubra. Needed some dusting and will need a bit of steam to clean up a bit of brim and crown shaping ( front keeps snapping back up and it almost looks like it had a cattlemans crease), but Im happy. Love a taller brown hat. An I finally own a Heritage felt Campdraft!

Good score! I was under the impression they don't make CD in this brown anymore; is it an eBay purchase?

Looks like someone trimmed the ribbon as well but it looks better like that, imo.

Yep an ebay hat. Ribbon DOES look like it was trimmed a bit. Interior looks really clean and in general felt is in nice shape. Not sure when the last time the Brown CD Deluxe was offered but I havent seen one in quite a while. I was especially thrilled to find a Deluxe in Brown AND in a 59. Just couldnt resist

Akubra stopped offering the Cedar Brown Campdraft Deluxe during the pandemic when they ceased production of all Campdraft Deluxe and many other models as well.

Good to Know! tells me it was fairly well cared for. I needed a nice warmer hat.... 24 hrs ago it was 83 degrees and right now its 56... got to love Texas spring weather!
