These are not on eBay but are nevertheless great internet finds that are currently available.
All are in size 7 1/4. I would grab one if not all for myself, but they don't fill any of my current voids.

I have never traded with Ruby Lane but they seem to be legitimate.

That’s pretty standard for the market in Japan…If it’s a Stetson or Borsalino, it starts at plenty. If it’s a vintage, double (or more) the price, if it’s in good condition, bump it up another ¥10,000, or more, and if it’s in a regular human size (something you don’t have to worry about!), just forget about it!

Once again the thrill of ebay! A decent little Royal Stetson Temple in a medium brown. Not a Sovereign like my other Temples, but its a cute little lid. Came in a perfectly big cardboard box, with the hat stuffed flat into a plastic envelope and then crammed full of inflatable bags lol.

All things considered, its no worse for the torture. Nice soft hat that popped back out ok and should clean up just fine. Its a much lighter shade of brown as compared to my Mink Temple ( most of the tag is missing so not sure exactly what the color is) Everyone needs multiple colors of the same hat dont they? Felt and ribbon in good shape, clean liner and leather sweat is in great shape. Check, check, and check.

Unreal. Sometimes you have to wonder what people are thinking. I once got a great antique Stetson in the original box and the seller sent the thing JUST in the hat box. That's right, he taped the hell out of it and slapped the postage and labels right on the original hat box, totally ruining the box.

Someone posted an original art deco Stratoliner box like that... beautiful box with about 5 yds of clear packing tape slapped all over it.

I had exactly the same experience with an old Borsalino in its original box. Just slapped the USPS label right on the box and wrapped tape all around. Uggh. At least the hat was beautiful.

Well.. after @steur alerted me to it’s beyond significant price drop, and putting in an offer that was accepted. .. turns out it was right here up above on this page was where Stefan had posted it a few months back. Now on its way and I look forward to inspection.

I heard mixed things about Christy's of various vintages from the modern era, but I've got to say, with some cleaning and hatband work, I'm looking at a very nice hat, handmade in England, with FEPSA rabbit fur, nice leather sweatband (not crazy thick, having seen that complaint earlier) and a Christy's red satin liner.

Thanks Randy. I am curious who the maker may be.. the blocking and proportions were giving me Adam hats vibes…. But the size tag and liner tell me I may be looking more in the Beaver/Langenberg direction. Whatever the case it looks to be in great shape and cost me almost nothing. Looking forward to checking it out.

I saw your post and it does have elements of Langenberg. To me, it looks like better construction and sharper details than many Langenberg hats I've seen, so there may be more to it than we know. Regardless, it looks like an impeccable hat. I'm jealous.
