What Hat Are You Wearing Today ?

40 degrees this morning and supposed to be close to 80 this afternoon... I cant wait till the normal East Texas spring and summer weather arrives (70s at night/ 85 during day). Dont get me wrong, I love some of my jackets and coats but I hate HAVING to wear them lol

Hadnt had many of the *** Clubs outside in a while, and it felt like a black hat morning....so today its a Stetson *** Club Diamond Jim

That particular hatband is unusually nice tiny braiding. For a factory hat band its rather nice.... Always reminds me of a snake wrapped around the hat. Too bad they cheaped out on the little metal diamonds... they only go around the front half. Thinking I may look for another abused Diamond Jim so I could salvage the diamonds and make one complete band lol

The hat is branded Cappellificio Cervo - Bantam.

The felt has the Barbisio workmanship label, so we are looking at a product that was inherited from Cappellificio Cervo in the late 70's or early 80's when the neighboring hat makers closed down giving Cervo their brands and leftovers.

The felt is nice and finished with a short fur, the colour is "Stresa" and in my opinion it is not the real colour, but a sort of fast label.

It was hardened with shellac for some marketing reason.
It is practically new and has the flavor of nostalgia for the Italian hat industry in its best days.
My compliments for the hats that everyday are under my eyes
