Thanks MarkVERY nice, Marcel. LOVE the lining.
Hope you get well soon, Gary.Been away for a while. Three nights in Melbourne, two in an airplane with 73screamingvomiting kids. My Acorn Fawn Stylemaster took the trip with me. The vomiting began with one kid on day one in Australia (not the flight). It hit its peak on the last day. One in the bus, and continuing on the flight home, and another two on the flight.
The photos are taken in front of the Puffing Billy small gauge steam engine. Our failure to get the students to take motion sickness medicine before riding likely contributed to the problems.

Sleep deprivation, both in Australia, and especially on the flight home have made me the latest to succumb. I’ve been on water and “Oral Rehydration Solution” all day, as I’m unable to hold anything else down. Also struggling with headaches and stiffness.
That said, the hats I’ve been catching up on on this thread have offered some respite. There have been some truly magnificent offerings, and quite a few that I’d like to comment on individually, but with this brain fuzz, I don’t really feel up to it.
All are wonderful as usual, Stefan. I don't know why, but this week, my vote goes to the Meuwsen TopperAnd it's another Sunday. Let's see what hats were on duty.

Champ De Luxe. This a very chameleonic felt. Shifts from green to brown/tan to grey/taupe. Quite the color shifter. With all that going on I went the entirely opposite direction for shirt color To be safe.

John Lofgren Monkey Boots Shinki Horsebuttt - $1,136 The classic monkey boot silhouette in an incredibly rich Shinki russet horse leather.
Grant Stone Diesel Boot Dark Olive Chromexcel - $395 Goodyear welted, Horween Chromexcel, classic good looks.
Schott 568 Vandals Jacket - $1,250 The classic Perfecto motorcycle jacket, in a very special limited-edition Schott double rider style. Nice hat Don.
Beautiful felt! So Thin! And the sweatband and liner really compliment the color.
Thanks, Timmy.
Oooh, that is lovely, Don. Great colour.
Oh, my word! What an absolutely STUNNING shade of blue, Don!!!!
That’s a stunner.
Love the shape with the high front crown... reminds me of the gangster in the Bugs Bunny cartoonsOh, snap!!!! That's a prize, Rick!!
I just loaded it to him for a few minutes... didnt want him to go out back and roll on it lolSorry but that hat is too nice for any dog (though that fella does look pretty cute wearing it)!
Thanks Don!That looks near mint. I like the color combo and that stitched brim.
What a difference 24 hrs makes! Yesterday it was 60 mph wind, horizontal heavy rain, tree branches falling into the power lines and lost power for 6-7 hrs. Spent most of yesterday listening to the generator so my freezers didnt thaw out.
Today its calm, clear, sunny ( and the powers back on lol) Hoisted one of the Royal Stetson Three Forks up top this morning

What a fabulous photo. Steam technology might be antiquated but it still holds a fascination. That intoxicating smell of oil and water in a cloud of steam, just wonderful. The hat too is of the era, compliments to you, your photo has really made me smile.
My wife Tina, indulges me, knowing my love of steam, she bought us a couple of tickets for a vintage event at at a preserved heritage railway. Seen here, the two of us being photo-bombed by Hercules, not that I minded.

Matt, Thank you for sending it my way! It's a fine looking hat! It's 'just a black hat', but I think it looks great on you, Steve. You also gave it some nice new pinches.
