Happy to see the mailman walking up the sidewalk with a big box today. After 15 days and about 8 different cities, my new-to-me Stratoliner B in Walnut finally arrived in great shape!. Im actually rather fond of these modern Stratoliner B hats for a good run around town topper. All are nice soft felt, fit my head well and are really comfortable to wear. Did not really set out to gather many of these up, but now I have a Silverbelly, a Caribou, and a Walnut.... time to fire up the steamer and touch it up a bit

R. & M. Wegener, possibly mid to later 1920s. Great Form and Felt with a curled blind stitched over welt Brim. This was my first 1930s or older R. & M. Wegener find after looking for a long time. I found this Soft Felt back in 2014.

Ceramic Top Hat promo item from the shop "Th. Scheunpflug Freiberg i / Sa." that sold the above R.& M. Wegener soft felt. I also found this piece back in 2014.

Wonderful hat, Steve. Really love that style, which seems to have disappeared after WWII.

Stefan, Thank you! I agree about this Curled brim type. Homburg types survived but not these Curled brim - blind stitched - over welt types LOL!

Sorry I missed your post from Sunday. Thank you regarding my Tonak "Gazela"! Your series of hats were all amazing! As usual I have to give the Dunn & Co. Velour and Feinste Velour Mode the highest honors! :)
