Final hat
Thanks, Bob! There actually were some more, but I only posted what I felt were the best. What a end-of-year list Jonathan!
Wow, you've been busy, Jonathan. What a haul! Truly fabulous hats there. I think I like the Stetson best.Final hat is still a work in progress, which is fitting because so am I. The oldest of everything I've posted in the past two days, a Rothschild Bros Hat Co western likely from the 1910/20s:

Bluebirds not your thing? 1940s not your thing? How about an older Humming Bird? Every man can appreciate a good hummer:

For some reason the photos are not coming through for me On this post.Willoughby camber style hat in black with a blue undertone. Canadian Beaver Fur in a size 57 with the bound brim at a smidge under 7 cm and the crown at 10,5cm at the center dent. Looks unworn. This one has me wondering who the maker was. Mossant used beaver fur but called it Castor Hudson on the sweatband. Because it is written in English it makes me think this one could perhaps have been made by the Wolthausen company in Brockville, who made the Canadian Stetsons as well. I don't have much luck with Willoughby. This was sold to me as a size 56, but it's certainly a solid size 57.

In the one picture I turned the brim down fedora style. You could wear it like that, but it has a very pronounced flange that way.
That's odd. I posted them the same way I always do. Anybody else have this problem? For some reason the photos are not coming through for me On this post.
All good this time. Great looking hat.
I'm seeing both sets of pics just fine.
