No label, but something written inside of the sweatband.

Very cool, Steve. Good to see one of these early Maysers.Mayser "J.K.", 57 cm, 115 grams, possibly late 1920s. The exterior Size Stamp is 58 which is accurate. The black Felt is of high quality and finely Finished. Interesting shorter length Bow which appears to be a Mayser Ulm trademark (based on my three Mayser Ulm Stiff Felts). The Liner has slightly transparent lightweight sides. Anton Ils Neiderlage / Warehouse was out of Ulm a. /D. so same location as Mayser Ulm. I have Silk Top Hat from Anton Ils Ulm a. / D. Came with a very nice light weight Case.

4 7/8 crown as shaped
1 1/4 Mauve Grosgrain Ribbon
2 3/4 brim with felt matching binding
Three rows of brim stitching

The CHAMP De Luxe is HERE! I hadn’t seen the De Luxe designation on a Champ before… but if the felt and ribbon on this hat didn’t catch my eye… the colorful Champ De Luxe logo sure did. This is by far the finest Champ hat I have had my hands on. The very thin, very soft and moldable felt is in the chameleon of felt colors…. One minute it’s grey.. or light brown.. next it’s green… then taupe… the magic of Loden. There is no labeling indicating “lightweight“ but this feels as soft and lightweight as my Champ Feather Weight hats.
There’s The ribbon a beautiful mauve grosgrain that goes perfectly with the felt. Then comes the brim…. 2 3/4 inch brim with a felt matching brim binding set off by super cool 3 rows of brim stitching.

I knew with a tagged size of 6 3/4 it would be a bit snug… but I’ve found with these 40s style sweats.. they tend to loosen up by wearing. It was as expected fairly tight. But then as I had noticed a bit of puckering of the sweatband… underneath I found these two strips of fabric being used as a sizer. I took those out and the fit is almost perfect.

Thanks Stefan. Didn’t take a lot of bravery to pick this one up at the opening bid. Luck however was apparently in no short supply that day. That's a beauty, Joe. Fortune favors the brave.
John Lofgren Monkey Boots Shinki Horsebuttt - $1,136 The classic monkey boot silhouette in an incredibly rich Shinki russet horse leather.
Grant Stone Diesel Boot Dark Olive Chromexcel - $395 Goodyear welted, Horween Chromexcel, classic good looks.
Schott 568 Vandals Jacket - $1,250 The classic Perfecto motorcycle jacket, in a very special limited-edition Schott double rider style. Another Dandy haul there Mr Wizard, love the ribbon detail on the whippet1940s or early 1950s Royal Stetson De Luxe "Supper Club" (single cell red/white factory sticker). Really nice except for the liner foxing / staining and the charcoal briquet of verdigris (that I'm almost afraid to mess with).

A hat of a different color, but I think I can work it into my wardrobe.

Fabulous. I’m assuming the fashion forward look of both of these hats being the same size that they came from the same owner?1940s or early 1950s Royal Stetson De Luxe "Supper Club" (single cell red/white factory sticker).
