Foreman & Clark (new brand to me) with Whippet styling. Wide bronze brim binding and a muted mauve crown ribbon. The brim is approximately 2 ⅝” wide and the open crown is a modest 5 ⅛” (approximate). The felt is fairly thick, but it’s very moldable.

Bradford (Resistol) Kingston “Super” OR clone. 2 ¾” brim and 5 ½” open crown. Size is 7 ¼ Extra Long Oval.

Very nice. Looks like it has that fabric like reeding material you sometimes see on older Disney Hats.

Interesting, Joe. The felt reminds me of the last Mac Lachlan I bought and one of the early 1940s Vita Felt Stetsons that passed through my hands. The felt isn’t soft, but neither is it harsh.

Stetson Sovereign Twenty. 2 ¾” wide brim with mode (Cavanagh/felted) edge. The open crown is just around 5 ¾” and it has a great box-pleat bow with gills. Size is US 7 ¼ or 58cm.

Here’s my brand new Stetson Inwood with 1 3/4” brim and made of hemp straw. I had been wanting a nice narrower brimmed straw fedora as an alternative to my hemp Stratoliner for some time now, and this one nails the different vibe I was going for.

Tilapia. I usually prefer Flounder, Mahi, or Grouper in the fryer but it was slim pickings at the fish market. Dang good though. Paired with home made hush puppies.

Looks great! Tilapia was my next guess. Homemade hush puppies are the best! I'm in Alabama where we're up to our eyeballs in catfish.

Borsalino Alessandria. Has definitely been worn a lot but a little bit of steam and brushing snapped it right back to life. I keep telling myself I’ve got enough thin ribbons and then another nice one shows up. There are worse problems…
