Yes, hats are known to have healing powers, Steve, especially a boxful like that. But, why did you do this?

I don't see (or don't notice) many of the thin binding ribbon Whippets, Bob. Mine is just a hair under 1/4 inch on top and bottom.

This was a new hat to me: Van **** Custom Hatters. It’s an Imperial Fifteen dove gray homburg with great felt. A peak behind the sweatband answered a lot of questions.

Thanks Charlie
I broke it along with twisting my knee and cracking a couple of ribs playing soccer. I guess it's time to hang up the goal keeping gloves
Happens to the best of them, Steve:Thanks Charlie

Time to move to pickleball, Steve?! Although, as my wife was told last summer when she broke her wrist during a match, it’s probably time to change your strategy. Play to play, stop playing to win…Thanks Charlie

Here’s another Emko for sale. Was thinking mine was the only one!
Same seller listed this one today for the same starting price. I put in an offer of $101 for mine and she accepted.
She said her Dad’s size was 6 7/8 and this one is—as you can see by the size sticker.
Mine was reported to be the same size but turned out to be size 7 1/8.
It’s been successfully sized up to 7 1/4+ now.
I still have to sew back on the campaign bow.
A little odd that there were two hats just alike, same brand in two sizes. Maybe back in the 20s/30s her Dad bought one for his wife and one for himself?

Thanks Randall!
I wonder if most Whippet buyers would even notice the differences ... just seeing the label and that's enough. Not to take away from it at all. I like this hat better than a "real" Whippet personally.

Penney's Marathon Custom Quality. Needs some cleaning.
The "dirt" on the lower brim is a shadow from being snapped down (my thumb shadow is obvious).

O.P.S. era Cavanagh Homburg. I dig the thin binding showing on the edge of the curl.

Volk Hats.
The sweatband was too stiff for me to attempt a look behind without conditioning it.

Another cool batch there Mr Wizard! The Volk looks like it’s Hanoki straw.

Being a 7 1/4 long oval - 7 3/8 this Xtend R Flex makes sense to me!
