A 24 dollar price tag can lower one's inhibitions pretty easily around here...
I thought about getting it for trade fodder but decided to let someone else have a nice score. Glad it went to a good home!

In no way shape or form is this a gripe as I told the seller to feel free to ship in a smaller box if it will save on shipping knowing the hat needed major shaping anyhow. Just posting for my own amusement. Actually I’m kinda impressed they managed to shove this hat into this 6x8x4 box and even better only charged me about 5 Bucks.

I’d break open the piggy bank if it was my size, but this might even challenge Ignacio. NOT my hat:
NOT my hat:
Brent, that is very cool to run into a new old stock 100. Reminds me of the one I found back in the dark ages (2009). I wish I knew what I sold it for back then and what it would fetch now.
I get to relive that feeling when I visit this thread -> https://www.thefedoralounge.com/threads/deloreans-back-only-room-for-2-hats.42248/page-2

No, it wouldn't. Plenty of brim to work with, and we've done it before.I’d break open the piggy bank if it was my size, but this might even challenge Ignacio.

I love that this 100 isn’t an Open Road.

I've had it with Etsy..
Over the past month, I've placed orders for hats or caps on Etsy. Within 24 hours, I've received notice that my order was canceled and $$ refunded. Sellers tell me that the item wasn't available.
Why can't they utilize the system to remove items from their sites that are no longer available??

Often the same item is cross-listed on multiple online sites and if it sells on one it isn’t always immediately removed from the others. I’ve inadvertently bought the same hat on consecutive days from two sites…I even complained when one of my orders was cancelled.

Yes...I have noticed sellers listing on several sites at once too. I have yet to buy the same thing twice....but am waiting until the day I will for sure.....Often the same item is cross-listed on multiple online sites and if it sells on one it isn’t always immediately removed from the others. My complaints to the vendors are responded with " we're a small company with limited availability to update the site. We're sorry for the inconvenience ". My complaints to Etsy haven't been responded to yet.

I only wanted the 7 ⅜ flange, but the seller threw in the 6 ⅞ for free…can’t say no to that. When getting hats ready to sell on eBay I use flanges a lot more than crown blocks.

I had one similar some years back... very stiff but a very nice quality western hat. Sold it through the classifieds here I think...I’d break open the piggy bank if it was my size, but this might even challenge Ignacio.
