How many new jackets do you have coming (and how many potential ones)?

I think the moleskin is a superb choice for warmth. Did you go all the way through the sleeves with it? My only concern would be that it's likely a bit grabby against a long sleeve shirt.

Yeah, I am afraid I made mistake after did some research and you are right. I should change to cotton on sleeves, I am still not so sure if moleskin will be too warm for fall and Spring, I thought it is a three season lining.

I've been tempted to go with corduroy through the entire jacket....I should've with my wool as it has cannon sized sleeves and would certainly be warmer than the drill. I think the moleskin is a good balance between drill and corduroy. It'll be like wearing an 8lb fleece.

Highwayman black cxlsh (moleskin lined, durable enough?) and HB deluxe brown cxlsh (Alpaca lined)

These are gonna be HEAVY jackets!
I switched to moleskin lined sleeves on my CXL jackets after I keep getting burned with drill lined sleeves. The sateen lining is too light for heavy CXL jackets. The moleskin isn't that much thicker than the drill. Aero has one of the thickest drills, denim like. The resistance wearing long sleeve shirt is there but livable for me. With short sleeves the moleskin feels great, like wearing a flannel shirt.
The Alpaca fabric is very thick, but not dense. And the hair fiber is a lot scratchier than wool imo. If it's warmth, I think the quilted is warmer and easier to wear. The quilt that Aero/SB/FL uses is the nicest ones I have. I think they all use the same person who does the custom quilting job for them.
Can't see how much these beast weighs! I am gonna guess north of 8 lbs.

I would expect my king of the road to be at least 8 lbs, other two probably around 6-7 lbs, Aero still marks their steerhide at 4oz weight which is good news for me. Denny has already promise that I will get a heavy jacket.
Aero is now charge £50 for quilted lining, I don't know if they can put quilted in sleeves on HB, they can't do it on zipped sleeve.

CXL 4.5 oz Steer crosszip is gonna be at least 9lbs then, it may be over 10. Could be your heaviest jacket. Can't wait to see it!

Funny, I just went to their website to see how many they had in their inventory and they still have five? Nice gimmick? I purchased mine when they had only five? So that will lead me to believe that after selling one jacket, the inventory will be down to 4. Go figure.

I have the quilted lining in my Wayfarer sleeves, which I had fitted with storm cuffs - the outer is badalassi and the body is lined in shearling - this works perfectly for cold weather, without the sleeves being to grabby as can be the case with cord or moleskin etc.

This jacket remains imo as the best thought out and designed Aero I’ve ever seen.

I liked the black one so much I followed up with another in russet badalassi - with a slight tweak - this time I got rid of the side and wrist straps, and for the former I replaced them with an elasticated section at the side instead…..

Just when I thought it couldn’t get any better then this. Well done!
The Badalassi leather is really something special. I have a Kelpie jacket in queue and I wanted to see if that could be the horse equivalent to the Badalassi. Or it may be more CXL. I enjoy how aniline leather evolves.

It is more of a spring/fall jacket than a winter jacket, don‘t think you have to worry about it being too warm.

Took delivery of this Himel Kensington a couple weeks ago but with the stifling heat here in the Southern USA and my first newborn baby girl, I just haven’t found the time to take good fit pictures and give a review of my experience and the jacket which this forum and its knowledgeable members deserve.

I really can’t say what an immense resource you guys are.
