...This mornings chainsaw efforts found me wearing a ball cap. Hard effort and lots of perspiration later I was done. I would have really worn a cap. The ball cap was the appropriate tool.

I agree. I've read more than a few negative comments about ball caps here on The Lounge over the years, and I get the impression that some members wouldn't want to be caught dead wearing a ball cap. But I think they do have their uses outside of a sporting event, and this is a good example. Why risk a better/more valuable cap if you have a ball cap or two that will do the job just as well?

I completely agree with you. A ballcap came in handy for me while spreading a yard of topsoil.

Last cap from my visit to Delmonico Hatter. Wigens "stuart". Nice Brown

Herringbone Harris Tweed Newsboy with lots of interesting red & yellow colors mixed in.

I like the yellow stripe in the pattern across the back of the cap.

Very nice. I've been able to wear this Harris Tweed Newsboy in the morning quite often.

It's a little snug, but it's slowly becoming very comfortable.

My hats and caps get a lot of wear.. They're not collectible when I'm done with them. Lol

I'd love to find a manufacturer who uses your wonderful fabrics in cap styles that I prefer.. Until then, I'm a herringbone fan...
