The rumpled Californian is the latest FW look alike. I never looked past the wrinkles, I just passed it off as 50s, but it is a 40s jacket. Maybe war era.

The Wrinkle are bad enough then you see the damage on the collar and upper shoulders. That damage is just not worth the money or effort.

These are great jackets. I've owned a few of these. Came in Steer and Horsehide. made my Appalachian Tanned and Tailored. This is the 60s steerhide with the Oakbrook label. The HH models were labeled Sears Fieldmaster. The side gathers loose their snap.
