How many new jackets do you have coming (and how many potential ones)?

[JMax]

I’ve licked my wounds by buying this. It’s been sitting in my watch list for almost a year. Dude finally got the price to an acceptable risk.

If this hide is anything like my Kurland MC jacket, you will be pleased.

I’ve never cried over a jacket that’s too small to wear. Until today Easily the nicest Halfbelt I’ve ever laid hands on. The interior is mint. With a little Urad this thing will glow and belong among the pantheon of the best jackets I’ve ever touched. Absolute soul crusher!!

That quilt pattern in the lining is special, never seen that before!

I’ll get better picks once she’s polished. The jacket is just stunning. Not sure what to do with it. On the one hand, I have no use for it. On the other, I just love owning it. But I don’t really want to collect in that way. In my size, it’s the absolute end of the road, and that’s probably why it doesn’t fit.

I feel your pain. I watched that one for awhile even thru out a lowball offer as I knew it would probably be way too small. What was the actual pit-pit? She listed 20.5” and 21.25”. Truly a fine looking unique vintage piece even if you can only pull it out of the closet once in awhile to admire.

It’s just shy Of 22”. The shoulders are trimmer than I thought too. Dead on 18”. The quilted liner is very thick. Like Vanson thick. I suspect it’s a 40”. Looking at it I haven’t even dared to put it on. Back length is perfect at 26”. Would need at least an inch in the chest and shoulders to squeeze into it. Even if I went full on Christian Bale machinist I don’t think I could get in it. My bones are just to big for it.

You still got my address right?

I think this one might be too small for you Marc. I’m going to post it for sale later today when I can get it properly photo’d and measured. It’s a real stunner, and someone here should have it.

If it's 22"-ish ptp, it'll be a perfect tshirt fit for me.

I’d love for you to have it. I know you’d appreciate it. I’ll get an ad posted later today with measurement pics and post URAD hide glow. It’s 5 in the morning here and I’m just drinking my coffee and staring at it.

I just ordered a jacket from Thedi. Theodoros is going to make me a MTC7920 like this one:

In goatskin thinned down to .8-.9 mm like this:

I am going to pick it up in person the first week of October in Thessaloniki, on my way home from doing some island hopping in Greece.

[handymike]

Visiting in-person to pick it up...Priceless!

That's an extra Thedi right there

Well the IH natural horsehide jacket arrived yesterday and it was a bit too tight for my liking. I was a little surprised because the numbers looked almost exactly the same as another jacket I have from them that fits with room to spare. What I had failed to take into account was that this jacket has no action back and so there was no extra give when reaching up or forward.
It was a perfect photo fit though, looked great as long as I just stood there and didn’t move…. I should’ve snapped a couple pictures but I didn’t want to wear the jacket any longer than I had to because I was afraid of putting a mark on the pristine white hide.
Fortunately for me they make a larger size and I have already sent the first jacket back for exchange. I was very happy with the weight and softness of the leather and anybody who has handled the natural horsehide from the Comipel Tannery in Italy knows how incredibly nice it smells.
I can’t wait to see the new one!

I got a flight to LAX using miles on my Hawaiian Airlines credit card. Then found a round trip flight on Luthansa with a stop in Munich, flying into Crete and returning from Thessiloniki for around $700. I'm going to take a bunch of ferries and do some island hopping. I like islands with warm water. Hold it, wait a minute...I live on an island in the tropics. ?? Ah, but the significant other wants to travel, so it will be.

Yeah, it’s going to cost a fortune, and my local beach is free. Must be love.

I went ahead and paid for the shipping already. So, if I have to wait, so be it. Did you ask why it was taking so long?

I gots a feeling they'll hustle up to get that jacket finished on time since you are making the effort to pick up the jacket in person. I last emailed them in the middle of June and was told the panels of my jacket has already been cut but one of his associates got hurt in a bike accident so there will be delays in production time
