If have quite a few postings to go in this thread. Hats came in from all sides this week, but the big haul was yesterday when a large supplier of vintage clothing stores found its warehouses overflowing because of the lockdowns last year. What to do? Well, you organize a kilo-sale, which is exactly what they did. Buy clothing by the kilo at a fixed price. As their stores are where I get a lot of my hats I decided to go for it and see if the hats were also part of the deal. They were. Buying hats by the kilo was a new one for me. Appears about 8 hats go into a kilo (dress weight). Great fun, but it didn't improve my storage problems
I haven't photographed all of them and some need a bit of work yet, but let's begin anyway.
Wegener fedora in brown (with a greyish tone). Size 57,with the raw edge brim at 6,2cm and the crown at 10cm at the center dent. It's a modern Wegener, but I liked the shape and the two-tone ribbon a lot, so why not.
