Changed my recent Aero order from Tobacco Badalassi to Black Badalassi cowhide.

The Black Badalassi should be delivered to Galashiels in 6 weeks.

Original Hercules. Have had eyes on the design for quite some time. ordered with Midnight-Blue CXL originally, but I really do have enough CXL already. Badalassi will be a first.

Ι got this one in the pipeline and currently pondering between an A-2 flight jacket or it’s Indiana Jones brother.

Looks is half the deal, but I also want them for driving around with the top down in my little Miata.

Any help would be more than welcome

I always wanted a black badalassi jacket, @Robbie79 has one that he should be wearing more of (I do understand the issues with jacket rotation lol)

This is me. Super excited on this project.

Black Badalassi with Grey or Black "Wild Card" lining.
It's a 4 pocket cafe racer w/ August collar (Sheene) with hwm details.
Zip sleeve like a cafe racer.
Nickel hardware Talon.
Chest pocket (ring pull) slanted like the board racer.
Hand warmers with bell pull zippers (close position towards the waistband).
No internal/external kidney panel.
No hwm yoke but w/ shoulder gusset (basically 1 piece back like how I like it).
Hidden size tag.
Thunder Bay label.
Steer hide label to bottom hem.
Internal pocket with snap.

Yes, I’d say they are almost identical.

Nice, maybe I should pick that too instead of the teacore shinki.
Nothing wrong with that man! Shinki is so varied that It's nice to experience different finishes

I’m waiting on a sample from Greg. I love Himel’s oil tanned Shinki, so I hope it’s comparable!

I honestly can barely tell the difference. In fact I’d say it’s the same leather.

I know this is a terrible photo ... my black oil tanned Himel with two samples from FL. Full black aniline Shinki (large piece), black pony (small piece).

I’m not certain but I’ll take a look at it tomorrow ... it’s at my office.

I’ve had it in my pocket for about a week just to see how it creases etc (thanks @Marc mndt for that suggestion). IMO it’s beautiful.

Many thanks @Mysteryo for sharing the Vinted link. I finally couldn't resist as IMO this The Flat Head jacket looks super cool and is brand new. The thick mouton collar is detachable and the lining is rather thick according to the seller. I hope the stitching is better than on the one posted by @Monitor but on the other hand my deerskin TFH jacket I sold last year had nice stitching and overall quality was quite nice.

The seller from France was very helpful and answered all my questions regarding size and sent me many measurement pics. After a friendly phone call with this passionate jacket collector during Lunch break we finally made the deal. Normally it should fit me well...but let's see middle/end of next week.

Picked up an old, beat up Schott suede trucker with sherpa lining. Very similar to the levis one @Marc mndt posted few days ago. I'll do some proper before and after as it needs lots of love. Was only $30, well prob $80 all in with shipping.

Maybe we have a different view on stitch quality, or maybe (probably) I'm a stitch counter. But the stitching on the handwarmer pockets of the deerskin jacket looked pretty sloppy to me.
